Lyon School Targeted by Firework Attack, Teacher Injured

A teacher was injured during a mortar fire attack at a Lyon high school, raising concerns over increasing violence in educational institutions.

Mortar fireworks were fired at the Auguste and Louis Lumière High School in Lyon early Thursday morning, injuring a teacher.
The attack occurred before classes began, with a group of about ten people gathered outside the school.
Authorities have not made any arrests, but around fifteen individuals have been identified as suspects.
The incident follows a similar attack on another Lyon school last week, where two students were charged with property destruction.
Minister Alexandre Portier condemned the violence as unacceptable and expressed support for the affected teacher and school community.
