Lydia Ko and Ayaka Furue Lead in LPGA Opener

Lydia Ko and Ayaka Furue share the lead at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, both at 8-under 136 after two rounds.
Ko, who had a difficult year in 2023, played a bogey-free round and is looking to bounce back at the tournament, which is held at the Lake Nona course she now calls home.
Gemma Dryburgh and Gaby Lopez are two shots behind the leaders, while defending champion Brooke Henderson and Alexa Pano are three shots out of the lead.
Ko and Furue, along with other players, will face challenging weather conditions over the weekend, with a cold front expected to drop temperatures into the low 40s Fahrenheit.
The tournament also features a celebrity division, with Annika Sorenstam and former NHL player Jeremy Roenick currently leading.
