Overview
- Netflix released all eight episodes of Lupin Season 4 on Friday, Oct. 23, 2026, making the new season available to stream worldwide the same day.
- The season opens with Assane Diop behind bars and then centers on a mysterious copycat who takes credit for coordinated robberies at multiple museums using deepfakes, hacking and pervasive surveillance.
- Omar Sy returns as Assane and is joined by Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab, Shirine Boutella, Théo Christine and Laïka Blanc‑Francard in the principal cast.
- German viewers will hear several different dubbing voices in Season 4 after reports that contract disputes over Netflix’s proposed AI‑related clauses left long‑time voice actors such as Sascha Rotermund and Anne Helm unavailable for the new episodes.
- Lupin remains one of Netflix’s most successful non‑English shows, and this season’s focus on deepfakes and hacking raises new risks for a disguise‑based hero while also putting pressure on industry practices for localization and voice talent contracts.
