Overview

• The Holy See confirmed an audience for Monday, Oct. 13, with Palácio do Planalto citing an 8:15 a.m. local start time in the Vatican.
• It will be Lula’s first meeting with Pope Leão XIV since the new pontiff took office in May.
• Lula will attend the opening of the FAO World Food Forum on Oct. 13 and will close the Second Council meeting of the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty at FAO headquarters.
