Overview
- The 51st Youth Pilgrimage to Luján ran Oct. 4–5 under the motto “Mother, give us love to walk with hope,” covering roughly 60 km from San Cayetano in Liniers to the Basilica of Luján.
- Organizers and church leaders reported an exceptionally large turnout, with García Cuerva saying more than a million people were expected as the event concluded with the 7 a.m. Sunday Mass.
- Authorities mounted an extensive safety and transport plan with road closures across Morón, Merlo, Ituzaingó, Moreno, General Rodríguez and Luján, plus reinforced Sarmiento line services.
