Luis Fernández, who previously served as President of Noticias Telemundo and retired in 2021, has been appointed as the new Chairman of Telemundo, replacing Beau Ferrari.
Ferrari, who held the Chairman position for the past three years, will transition to a senior advisory role, focusing on strategic growth opportunities for NBCUniversal News Group.
Fernández brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles, including CEO of Spain's state-owned public radio and television corporation, RTVE, and president of Univision Entertainment and Univision Studios.
Under Ferrari's leadership, Telemundo expanded its reach to over 150 countries and achieved record financial results.
