Luis Enrique Wins Cruyff Trophy as Ballon d'Or's Best Coach

The award recognizes PSG's quadruple-winning campaign capped by the club's first Champions League title.

The Paris Saint-Germain manager was confirmed as the 2025 recipient during the 69th Ballon d'Or ceremony.
He did not appear on stage because PSG were playing a rescheduled league match at Marseille's Stade Vélodrome.
Enrique succeeds Carlo Ancelotti, who won the inaugural Cruyff Trophy in 2024.
He topped a shortlist that included Enzo Maresca (Chelsea), Antonio Conte (Naples), Hansi Flick (FC Barcelona) and Arne Slot (Liverpool).
In his remarks, he thanked his family, club staff and players, as well as president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi and sporting director Luis Campos.
