Lufthansa to Hire 10,000 Workers Worldwide in 2025

The German airline plans to fill roles across flight operations, technical services, and administration, with half of the jobs based in Germany.

Lufthansa Group has announced plans to hire 10,000 new employees globally in 2025, including 2,000 flight attendants and 800 pilots.
Approximately 50% of the new positions will be located in Germany, with additional hiring at subsidiaries like Eurowings and Austrian Airlines.
The 2025 hiring target is 3,000 fewer than in 2024 due to the company’s ongoing cost-saving program, 'Efficiency Program Turnaround.'
Despite reduced hiring plans, Lufthansa expects its total workforce to grow, following 13,000 hires and 350,000 applications in 2024.
The airline, which employs over 100,000 people in 90 countries, continues to face financial challenges from labor disputes, rising costs, and increased competition.
