- Lufthansa said tickets issued from Wednesday, June 3 will again allow free refunds for most long‑haul Flex fares on flights operated by its group carriers.
- The airline will keep a reduced cancellation charge for First Class Flex tickets, cutting it from €1,500 to €800 for tickets issued from June 3.
- Lower refund fees for Basic Plus and Green fares will take effect from June 10 and will be set at Economy €300, Premium Economy €400, Business €500 and First €1,000 for tickets issued on or after that date.
- The measures apply to Lufthansa Group carriers including Lufthansa, Discover, Swiss, Brussels and Austrian and cover Europe–Asia‑Pacific and several long‑haul leisure routes while country exceptions such as China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia remain unchanged.
