Overview
- One aircraft from each major subfleet will wear the scheme: 787-9, 747-8, A380, A350-1000, A350-900, and A320.
- The design features a deep blue fuselage, a white crane whose wings extend onto the aircraft wings, “100” on the left side and underside, and “1926/2026” on the right.
- Lead jet D-ABPU “Berlin” received the livery in Charleston, repositioned to Everett on November 16, and is expected in Frankfurt before Christmas to begin service in January 2026.
- Lufthansa says the anniversary-painted aircraft will operate regular scheduled flights across its network throughout 2026.
- The program focuses on modern subfleets and excludes A330 and A340 types that are slated for retirement as the rollout progresses.
