Lufthansa and Swiss Airlines Extend Flight Suspensions to Middle East

Flight cancellations now include Tel Aviv, Beirut, and Amman until at least August 21 due to regional tensions.

Lufthansa Group suspends flights to Tel Aviv, Tehran, Beirut, Amman, and Erbil until August 21.
Swiss International Airlines also extends its flight suspensions and avoids airspace over Iran, Iraq, and Israel.
Other airlines, including Air France, Ryanair, and Vueling, have similarly extended or initiated flight cancellations.
The suspensions are a response to escalating security concerns in the Middle East region.
Lufthansa offers free cancellations for travelers with tickets up to August 31.
