Ludwigshafen Faces €300,000 in Extra Costs Due to Early Bundestag Election

In total, the city has budgeted €542,000 for both the mayoral and Bundestag elections in 2025, reflecting the increased financial burden.
Current Mayor Jutta Steinruck will not seek re-election, and the earliest possible date for the mayoral vote is April 6, 2025.
