Indie rocker Lucy Dacus is inviting fans to get married onstage during her Berkeley show as part of her “Forever Is a Feeling” tour.

Overview

  • Dacus, who is legally ordained in the U.S., has added a Weddings tab on her website linking to a Google form where couples can apply to marry during her Forever Is a Feeling tour.
  • Applicants must bring a valid marriage license to the venue box office and will have it returned by the end of the performance free of charge.
  • The website offers state-by-state instructions on license requirements and flags cities such as Philadelphia, Milwaukee and Vancouver that impose extra legal steps.
  • Ceremonies will begin when the tour kicks off at FDR Park in Philadelphia on July 25 and continue at eligible dates through September.
  • The initiative highlights Dacus’s broader advocacy for making marriage rights more accessible, particularly for LGBTQ+ fans.
