Lucky Strike Completes Acquisition of Five Water Parks and FECs From Herschend

  • Lucky Strike Entertainment finalized its purchase of Raging Waters Los Angeles, Wet ’n Wild Emerald Pointe, Castle Park, Boomers Vista, and Boomers Palm Springs from Herschend Family Entertainment.
  • The newly acquired properties collectively draw over 1.5 million guests annually, led by California’s 60-acre Raging Waters Los Angeles and the 40-acre Wet ’n Wild Emerald Pointe.
  • Herschend acquired these parks in March 2025 as part of its Palace Entertainment deal but sold them after only months under its control.
  • Thomas Shannon, Lucky Strike’s founder and CEO, said the deal advances the company’s vision to create a leading platform of North American location-based entertainment destinations.
  • Following this transaction, Herschend will operate no attractions in California as it shifts its growth strategy to eastern and northern U.S. markets.
