AMC Ends Bob Odenkirk-Led Drama, Concluding His Network Run Dating Back to 2009

AMC has canceled 'Lucky Hank', a drama series led by Bob Odenkirk, after just one season.
The show, an adaptation of Richard Russo's novel 'Straight Man', premiered in March and concluded its eight-episode run in May.
'Lucky Hank' marked Odenkirk's follow-up role after 'Breaking Bad' and 'Better Call Saul', and his cancellation ends his run on the network dating back to 2009.
Despite the cancellation, AMC expressed pride in the series and gratitude to everyone involved, stating that the eight episodes will continue to exist on AMC+ for new and returning viewers.
The cancellation comes amidst a tough year for AMC Networks, which has axed a swath of new content.
