Lucknow Influencer Sought After Cafe Owner Falls From Fourth-Floor Flat

Forensic findings of severe internal injuries and newly recovered CCTV have prompted a murder FIR and an intensified police hunt to determine if the fall was accidental or criminal.

Overview

  • Shiva Sharma, a 27–28-year-old Lucknow restaurateur, fell from the fourth floor of an Awadh Green Apartment and was declared dead on October 9, moving the case from a possible accident to a homicide probe.
  • Post-mortem doctors recorded multiple internal injuries including tears in both lungs, liver and spleen damage, major internal bleeding and a fractured right pelvic bone, and attributed death to shock and haemorrhage.
  • Sharma’s mother filed a complaint accusing influencer Shraddha Dubey, her sister Rashmi and others of assault, blackmail and murder, and Hazratganj police have registered an FIR naming them among the accused.
  • Investigators are analysing CCTV footage, chat records and physical evidence from the flat, but officials say the video alone does not yet show whether Sharma jumped, fell accidentally or was pushed.
  • Police have formed multiple teams, launched raids across Lucknow, Rae Bareli and Sitapur, offered rewards to trace the absconding accused and are probing reported links between the named suspects and known criminal figures while the inquiry continues.
