• Penta and Rey Fenix made a surprise return at the Nov. 22 Mexico City TV taping, confronting Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano after their win over Hijo del Vikingo and Dragon Lee.
• Hijo del Vikingo betrayed Dragon Lee during the match, enabling Mysterio to hit a 619 before El Grande Americano finished the bout for the pin.
• AAA confirmed the tag match for Guerra de Titanes on Dec. 20 at Arena Guadalajara, and the challenge was accepted during the taping.
• The Mysterio–Americano alliance is officially branded Los Gringos Locos 2.0 in homage to Art Barr and Eddie Guerrero, with the name revealed in an AAA backstage video.
