Overview

• Commissioned into the Army Ordnance Corps after the Officers Training Academy passing-out parade in Chennai on September 6, 2025.
• Ranked first in the Order of Merit, receiving the President’s Gold Medal, with the Reviewing Officer Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh also presenting her the OTA Gold Medal.
• Becomes the first woman officer in her family’s five-generation military line tracing back to Subedar Harnam Singh, with her father Major General K. S. Dhadwal and brother Captain Dhananjay Dhadwal currently serving.
• OTA Chennai commissioned 155 officers, including 25 women, while 21 foreign cadets from nine countries completed training alongside them.
• Across simultaneous ceremonies at OTA Chennai and OTA Gaya, the Indian Army inducted 362 Short Service Commission officers.
