LSU Wide Receiver Kyren Lacy Wanted for Fatal Hit-and-Run Charges

Louisiana State Police have issued an arrest warrant for Kyren Lacy, a former LSU wide receiver and NFL draft prospect, for negligent homicide, felony hit-and-run, and reckless vehicle operation.
The incident occurred on December 17, 2024, when Lacy allegedly drove recklessly on Louisiana Highway 20, causing a chain-reaction crash that resulted in the death of 78-year-old Herman Hall and injuries to two others.
Authorities claim Lacy fled the scene without providing aid, contacting emergency services, or reporting his involvement in the crash.
Lacy declared for the 2025 NFL Draft just two days after the incident, but his draft prospects are now in question due to the severity of the charges.
LSU has not commented on the case, and police are in communication with Lacy's legal team to arrange his surrender.
