The ball, hit by LSU player Tommy White, had an exit velocity of 109 mph and bounced off Morace's forehead.
Despite the impact, Morace was able to continue watching the game and later joked about the incident in interviews.
He received a signed baseball from White, although it was not the one that hit him.
Morace is scheduled to make a guest appearance on the radio broadcast of LSU's next game.
