After resuming a rain-suspended contest to defeat UCLA, LSU will await the winner of Tuesday night’s Arkansas–UCLA elimination game for Wednesday’s bracket final.

  • LSU resumed its rain-delayed contest against UCLA on Tuesday morning at Charles Schwab Field and secured a 9-5 victory to improve to 2-0 in the College World Series.
  • Jared Jones tied the game with a three-run homer in the first inning and later added an RBI single in the eighth, marking his 21st home run of the season and 63rd of his career.
