LSEG to Connect Financial Analytics to ChatGPT Starting the Week of Dec. 8

Credentialed clients will query licensed market data in ChatGPT through a controlled connector.

The first phase launches with LSEG Financial Analytics, with further datasets and capabilities slated for later rollout.
ChatGPT will act as the interface for natural‑language requests while an MCP connector pulls structured prices, news and analytics from LSEG systems.
LSEG describes its content as AI‑ready and says the connector maintains existing licensing, entitlements and compliance controls.
Around 4,000 LSEG employees will gain ChatGPT Enterprise access for internal automation, drafting and research workflows.
The initiative reflects a broader industry push, following S&P Global's July plan to bring its data into Anthropic's Claude.
