LPGA and TMRW Sports Launch WTGL, a Women’s Team Golf League for 2026–27

The joint LPGA–TMRW venture will stage fast-paced team matches in SoFi Center’s hybrid simulator arena during the 2026–27 offseason.

Overview

  • WTGL is confirmed to debut in winter 2026–27 at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
  • The league adopts TGL’s tech-forward format with a five-story simulator screen, a 360-degree rotating green, two-hour team match play, integrated analytics and mic’d players.
  • WTGL is a partnership of the LPGA and TMRW Sports, founded by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Mike McCarley, and is framed as a media-first complement to the LPGA Tour.
  • Teams, rosters, ownership groups and media rights are still to be announced, and a broadcast partner has not yet been named as discussions continue.
  • Organizers highlight the winter schedule as a U.S.-based option for LPGA stars, with early positive player reaction including comments from Lexi Thompson.
