Overview

• Detectives with LMPD's 2nd Division Impact Unit executed a search warrant around 6 p.m. on Sept. 26 in the 5000 block of Yew Lane.
• Officers reported seizing one pound of fentanyl, 5.26 ounces of high-purity cocaine, eight ounces of marijuana, and two firearms.
• LMPD estimated the fentanyl could deliver lethal doses to about 36% of Jefferson County's population, or more than 225,000 people.
• The operation included support from SWAT, Patrol K-9, and Tech Ops units as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
• Police announced no arrests and said the investigation continues in coordination with federal partners.
