Overview

• LMPD reports three people were killed and three others wounded across multiple neighborhoods from Saturday night into Sunday, with the injured expected to survive.

• In Algonquin, two men and a woman were shot outside JJ’s Food Mart after a dark-colored vehicle opened fire and drove off, and investigators say all three were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
• A woman in her late 30s was shot in the arm near Park Hill, and two men wounded in Buechel drove themselves to Baptist Health after being shot on Kranet Way, with both investigations handled by the Non-Fatal Shooting Unit.
• Police also reported two additional homicides involving a woman found with throat lacerations on Autumn Way and another woman found shot multiple times near the Shawnee Boat ramp, and they urged tips at 502-574-LMPD or through the online portal.
