Louisiana Tech LB Suspended Indefinitely for Stomping on Opponent's Head

Louisiana Tech linebacker Brevin Randle has been suspended indefinitely after video showed him stomping on the head of a UTEP player during a recent game.
The incident occurred during the second quarter of the October 1 game between Louisiana Tech and UTEP.
UTEP player Steven Hubbard was on the ground when Randle stomped on his head in an apparently intentional act.
The on-field officials did not penalize Randle during the game, but Louisiana Tech's athletic director and coach reviewed video of the incident afterward.
Randle acknowledged wrongdoing when informed of his suspension, which was announced October 1.
