Louis McCartney to Star in 'Stranger Things: The First Shadow' on Broadway

The play, a prequel to the popular Netflix series, will open in New York in April 2025.

Louis McCartney will reprise his acclaimed role as Henry Creel, a character pivotal to the 'Stranger Things' universe.
The Broadway production follows a successful run in London's West End, where McCartney earned multiple awards for his performance.
Set in 1959, the play explores the backstory of Henry Creel, who later becomes the sinister Vecna in the series.
Directed by Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin, the play features an original story by the Duffer Brothers, Jack Thorne, and Kate Trefry.
Performances will begin on March 28, 2025, at the Marquis Theatre, with the official opening scheduled for April 22, 2025.
