Lost Soul Aside, developed by China's Ultizero Games, is set to launch in 2025 for PlayStation 5 and PC, though a specific release date has not been announced.
The new gameplay trailer highlights frenetic, combo-based combat inspired by Devil May Cry and Final Fantasy, as well as a snowy tundra setting with large enemies like ice monsters and wolves.
Players will assume the role of Kazer, the protagonist on a mission to save his sister and humanity from dimensional invaders, with the help of an alien-like companion.
The game will remain a single-player experience, with a training mode included to help players master its fast-paced mechanics and elemental attacks.
Lost Soul Aside will require a PlayStation Network account for PC players, as it is published by PlayStation under its China Hero Project initiative, which supports Chinese developers reaching global audiences.
