Overview
- Update 1.077.002 is live on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, delivering Ark: Survival Ascended’s first canonical expansion map.
- New gameplay includes Thrall Mastery for recruiting and controlling NPC fighters and The Ascent skill trees with 70+ unlocks across Wayfarer, Beastmaster and Utility paths.
- Seven locales such as the Twilight Forest and a gothic metropolis join the Arat Prime setting, with more than a dozen additions like Aureliax, Gigadesmodus and Gloon.
- Cinematics feature MAPPA anime sequences and Unreal Engine Metahuman scenes with performances from Michelle Yeoh, Keith David, Madeleine Madden, Auli’i Cravalho and David Tennant.
- The patch adds extensive server configuration options and bug fixes, removes temporary Veilwyn and Ossidon spawns from other maps, and coincides with a roadmap that introduces new ASA content through 2027 and a 2027 expansion previewing Ark 2.
