Lost Cat Travels 800 Miles from Yellowstone to California in Two-Month Journey

Rayne Beau, a cat from Salinas, was reunited with his owners after being found in Roseville, thanks to a microchip.

Rayne Beau, a two-year-old cat, went missing during a camping trip in Yellowstone National Park in June.
His owners, Benny and Susanne Anguiano, searched for him for days but eventually had to return home without him.
Two months later, the couple received a notification from Pet Watch that Rayne Beau had been found in Roseville, California, over 800 miles away.
The cat had lost 40% of his body weight and was in poor health when found, but is now recovering at home.
The Anguianos emphasize the importance of microchipping pets, which was crucial in reuniting them with Rayne Beau.
