Overview

  • Mayor Karen Bass’s 8 p.m.–6 a.m. curfew in a one-square-mile section of downtown remains in effect following protests against Trump’s immigration raids.
  • Exemptions now allow ticket holders to attend indoor performances at venues including the L.A. Opera’s Saturday ‘Renée Fleming and Friends’ concert and Center Theatre Group events.
  • Some scheduled shows, such as the Mark Taper Forum’s ‘Hamlet’ performances and Ozomatli’s California Plaza concert, were canceled or postponed for Saturday.
  • The Broad museum will remain closed all weekend and attendees must depart venues immediately after performances and carry proof of ticket purchase.
  • President Trump’s deployment of 4,700 federal troops and active-duty Marines to enforce order has drawn condemnation from city leaders and spurred planned ‘No Kings’ protests on June 14.
