Lorry Falls 60 Feet from M6 Bridge in Cheshire, Driver Survives

An HGV fell from the Thelwall Viaduct on the M6 in Cheshire, plummeting 60 feet to the embankment below.
The incident occurred around 6:50 PM on Monday, leading to emergency services rushing to the scene.
Remarkably, the 56-year-old driver of the lorry survived with minor injuries and has been discharged from the hospital.
Fire crews used rescue equipment to reach the driver and contained a leak of approximately 1,000 liters of fuel from the vehicle.
Three lanes on the northbound carriageway remain closed for repairs, causing significant traffic delays, with police advising motorists to avoid the area.
