Overview

  • Carter informed the Titans on July 22 that he will retire and will be placed on the NFL’s Reserve/Retired list.
  • He signed with Tennessee this spring on a one‐year deal and took part in all offseason practices before opting to step away.
  • Selected 66th overall by the Giants in 2018, he delivered a breakout 2021 season with 50 tackles, five sacks and his first career interception.
  • After four years in New York, Carter parlayed a full 17-game campaign for the Falcons in 2022 into a multi-year contract before joining the Titans.
