Longtime Showtime Chief Named CEO of Chernin Entertainment Firm

David Nevins, former CEO of Showtime, has been appointed CEO of The North Road Company, Peter Chernin's global entertainment firm.
Nevins will oversee North Road's portfolio of brands including Chernin Entertainment, Kinetic Content, Words + Pictures, and an international division in London.
Peter Chernin will stay on as executive chairman of the company which he founded last year and has raised $800 million in funding.
North Road recently acquired production companies Karga Seven Pictures and took a stake in Omaha Productions.
Nevins has decades of experience leading major entertainment companies like Showtime, Paramount, CBS, Fox, NBC, and more.
