Long Island Police Search for Suspect Who Set Porta Potty and Himself on Fire

The suspect fled on foot after accidentally igniting himself while setting fire to a portable toilet outside a Levittown home under construction.

The incident occurred early Saturday morning on Sprucewood Drive in Levittown, Long Island, outside a home under construction.
Surveillance footage shows the suspect emerging from the burning porta potty, realizing his clothes were on fire, and fleeing the scene while still in flames.
The fire caused heavy damage to the portable toilet and minor damage to the nearby home before being extinguished by the Wantagh Fire Department.
Nassau County police have released the video and are asking for public assistance in identifying the suspect, who remains at large.
