Long Island Man Charged with Double Murder of Ex-Wife and Her Boyfriend

Daniel Coppola allegedly shot the couple while his teenage daughter waited outside in the car, according to prosecutors.

Coppola, 50, is accused of executing his ex-wife Kelly Coppola and her boyfriend Kenneth Pohlman in their St. James home.
Prosecutors revealed Coppola had premeditated the murders and left detailed letters explaining his motives.
The couple was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds after Coppola reportedly broke into the house.
Coppola's daughter, who was in the car during the incident, later called 911 as her father threatened suicide.
Coppola was arrested at his home and is being held without bail, under suicide watch.
