• Long Beach Fire Department crews responded at 7:21 a.m. Sunday to a blaze in a three-story apartment building.
• The fire was confined to a third-floor unit on the 3500 block of Linden Avenue in the California Heights neighborhood.
• Multiple neighbors called 911 after seeing smoke in the hallway and flames coming from the unit, according to an LBFD spokesperson.
