London's Ulez Scrappage Scheme Nears Closure, Over 200 Vehicles Sent to Ukraine

Sadiq Khan announces the end of the program that helped thousands switch to cleaner vehicles and supported humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.

The Ulez scrappage scheme will close to new applicants on September 7.
Over 330 vehicles have been donated to Ukraine for humanitarian and medical aid.
The scheme has distributed more than £186 million to nearly 54,000 applicants.
96% of vehicles in London now comply with Ulez emissions standards.
Additional funding will be provided to continue vehicle donations to Ukraine post-closure.
