Overview
- Besco inaugurated Lomas Plaza on July 22 with a two-level strip mall of about 6,000 square meters and 23 commercial units now operating.
- The project opened roughly 75–76% leased, with anchors Metro and Smart Fit taking about half of the leasable area and other tenants such as Mifarma Prime, Norky’s and Bobocha opening progressively.
- Besco projects around 3,000 daily visitors in the first year and forecasts S/2.5–3 million in first-year sales for the plaza as it draws customers from Rímac and nearby districts.
- Lomas Plaza is part of the Las Lomas del Rímac development that includes a delivered 144-unit building and an S/80 million investment for this stage, fitting into a broader plan for 6,000 apartments with remaining units to be delivered through 2028.
- Developers say the plaza will shorten trips for thousands of households, help sell nearby apartments by adding on-site services, and create a new local commercial node linked by Avenida Alcázar, a connecting ciclovía and the planned Corredor Azul extension.
