Anurag Thakur's unbeaten century led Lok Sabha Speaker XI to a 73-run victory in a match promoting India's tuberculosis eradication efforts.

The TB Free India Awareness Cricket Match was held at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in Delhi, aiming to spread awareness about tuberculosis elimination by 2025.
Lok Sabha Speaker XI, captained by Anurag Thakur, defeated Rajya Sabha Chairman XI, led by Kiren Rijiju, by 73 runs in the 20-over match.
Anurag Thakur scored an unbeaten 111 runs and was named Man of the Match, while other awards highlighted standout performances from MPs across both teams.
The event emphasized fitness and teamwork among MPs, with participants wearing jerseys bearing the slogan 'TB Harega, Bharat Jitega' (TB will lose, India will win).
The initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's goal to make India TB-free by 2025, ahead of the global target of 2030, showcasing significant progress in reducing TB cases and deaths in India.
