Logitech Launches Signature Slim Solar+ K980, a Solar-Powered Full-Size Keyboard, Now Available

Overview

  • Sales begin September 24 with an MSRP of €109.99 for the consumer model and €119.99 for the business version.
  • An integrated LightCharge panel powers the battery from sunlight or indoor light; Logitech says it can run up to four months in darkness after a full charge and the battery is designed for 10 years, with USB‑C available for manual charging.
  • The keyboard offers a full-size layout with Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz wireless via a USB receiver and Easy-Switch keys to toggle among three paired devices.
  • A configurable Action/AI key can be reassigned in the Logi Options+ app to open assistants like Copilot, Gemini or ChatGPT or to trigger custom workflows.
  • The business SKU includes a Logi Bolt USB‑C receiver for secure connections and fleet management through Logitech Sync, and the Graphite color uses up to 70% recycled plastic.
