Overview

  • The improved Stem Splitter now isolates guitar and piano stems with higher audio fidelity, offers presets for common separations and a submix export feature for selective track exports.
  • Flashback Capture monitors active play mode and lets users retroactively recover MIDI and audio performances they didn’t record in real time.
  • Three fresh sound packs debut: Dancefloor Rush brings over 400 drum-and-bass loops, Magnetic Imperfections adds analog tape textures and Tosin Abasi delivers progressive metal guitar riffs.
  • Learn MIDI on iPad enables users to map physical knobs, faders and buttons to plug-ins and instruments with real-time visual feedback for streamlined hardware control.
  • Logic Pro 11.2 for Mac and 2.2 for iPad are available now as free updates for existing users, with Stem Splitter and other features requiring M1-or-later Macs running macOS Sequoia 15.4 or A12 Bionic-or-later iPads on iPadOS 18.4.
