Overview

- An evacuation order for neighborhoods near Doubletree and Barbit, with a shelter at Skyline Church in La Mesa, was ultimately lifted after conditions improved.
- More than 100 personnel from Cal Fire, San Miguel Fire, and the Sheriff’s Department, supported by helicopters, air tankers, engines, and water tenders, worked to protect homes.
