Lockheed Martin, Tata Mark 250th India-Built C-130J Tail Delivery

Overview

• Lockheed Martin confirmed receipt of the 250th C-130J empennage produced by Tata Lockheed Martin Aerostructures Limited in Hyderabad.
• The complete tail assembly is exported to Marietta, Georgia, for integration into Super Hercules aircraft.
• Vice president Rod McLean said the milestone highlights India’s expanding role in the company’s global supply chain.
• The program features joint work on advanced manufacturing, quality systems and workforce training, supporting both Make in India and ongoing C-130 production needs.
• The C-130J fleet serves 23 countries with more than 560 aircraft and over 3 million flight hours, including missions flown by the Indian Air Force since 2011.
