Local World Food Program head shot dead in Yemen

Head of World Food Program's office in Yemen, Moayad Hameidi, was shot and killed by unknown gunmen in the city of Taiz.
Taiz has been under siege by Houthi rebels since 2016, disrupting flow of aid and goods.
No group has claimed responsibility, though Al-Qaida is active in the region.
The conflict in Yemen began in 2014 and has created one of the worst humanitarian crises.
Over 150,000 people have been killed since the start of the conflict.
