Overview

• Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis laid the foundation for a 4.5 MTPA integrated steel plant at Konsari and inaugurated a 5 MTPA grinding unit at Hedri, a 10 MTPA slurry pipeline, a 4 MTPA pellet plant, along with a 100-bed hospital, a CBSE school and an employee township.
• Construction on the integrated steel plant is slated to finish in 30 months, promising roughly 20,000 additional jobs for local residents.
