Overview
- Customers must open an eligible account and submit a switch application by February 3, with applications accepted online, in branch or by phone.
- The incentive applies to new Club Lloyds, Club Lloyds Silver or Club Lloyds Platinum current accounts.
- A full switch via the Current Account Switch Service is required, closing the old account and transferring at least three active direct debits that have been paid in the last 13 months.
- Direct debits set up after the switch is started do not count toward eligibility, standing orders and subscriptions are excluded, and Lloyds says the offer can be withdrawn without notice.
- For joint accounts, if neither person is already with Lloyds each must first open a sole account, then both log in to open jointly online or add a second person in branch, and anyone who has received a switching offer from Lloyds, Halifax or Bank of Scotland since January 1, 2023 is not eligible.
