Lloyd Howell Named NFLPA's New Executive Director to Succeed DeMaurice Smith in 2024

Lloyd Howell, formerly the CFO of Booz Allen Hamilton, has been elected as the new executive director of the NFL Players Association, succeeding DeMaurice Smith in 2024.
The confidential search process for the new executive director was led by NFLPA player representatives and focused on leadership skills and experience.
Howell, the fourth executive director in the union's history, has experience solving complex problems and will represent players in collective bargaining.
