Lizzo Defies Tennessee’s Anti-Drag Law With Onstage Protest

Lizzo invited drag queens to perform with her in Knoxville, protesting Tennessee’s new law banning drag shows in public.

A federal judge has temporarily halted enforcement of the law, calling it too vague.
Lizzo said she wanted to create a “safe space” to celebrate drag entertainers during her Knoxville concert.
