- CCTV evidence is said to show three men arriving in a stolen black Vauxhall Insignia, two approaching the door before shots were fired, then rejoining the car and meeting a fourth man nearby.
- Prosecutors allege Byrne and Preston Connolly carried out the shooting, Glynn drove the Insignia, Allen and Harrison assisted, Allen set the Insignia alight within minutes, and McGinn later gave the suspects lifts.
- The weapon was described as a Grand Power self-loading pistol or similar, one shot missing and another passing through Mrs Rutter’s hand into her chest; all defendants have pleaded not guilty, the case is before Mr Justice Goose and is expected to last six to eight weeks.
